Here is the recipe:
Fruit Pizza (or Vanilla Chip Fruit Tart)
Crust:
3/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Filling:
1 2/3 cups (10 oz) Hersheys Vanilla Milk Chips
1/4 cup whipping cream
1 8 oz package cream cheese
Glaze:
1/4 cup sugar
1 TB cornstarch
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Heat oven to 300 degrees. In small bowl, beat butter and powdered sugar together until smooth. Blend in flour. Press mixture onto bottom and up sides of a 12 inch round pizza pan. Bake 20 -25 minutes until lightly browned. Cool completely.
In microwavable bowl, mix vanilla chips and whipping cream. Microwave on high appx. 1 - 1.5 minutes until chips are melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. Beat in softened cream cheese.
Spread filling on cooled crust. Add your fruit of choice on top of filling.
In small saucepan, stir all glaze ingredients together. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Cool. Spread over entire pizza.
