Soul Surfer
In case you haven't heard, it is about a teenageer who is an awesome surfer. She was rated one of the top surfers in the nation and then was attacked by a shark while surfing. She lost almost all of her left arm. The story tells of her struggle to learn how to function without an arm and how she uses her faith to get her through. Oh, and did I mention that it is a TRUE STORY? It definitely is a movie the whole family can see. It will be on my list to buy when it comes out on DVD.
Digital Copy
Miss Jane received Narnia~Voyage of the Dawn Treader for Easter. It came in a package with a DVD, a Blu-Ray, and a "digital copy". Apparently this means that you can load it on to your computer and watch it, or it can be copied onto your iTunes account and you can watch on an Ipod! How cool is that! This may be old news to some people, but I was so thrilled to hear it! Hope all movies start coming out with this feature! What while they come up with next, a computer that you can take anywhere that is the size of a paperback book?
Water for Elephants...the movie
I am hoping this is going to be a fav...but I haven't seen it yet. We read the book for book club (and yes, I actually did read it!) and it was really quite interesting. I am not one who is fond of carnivals or the circus; clowns really scare me. Even happy clowns. But this book was really good, perhaps because there were no pictures. It is more about relationships and choices. I am hoping that they have limited clowns in the movie, as it is set in the 1930's and I believe that they focus more on things like the Guys with 3 Arms, and the bearded lady. Politically incorrect things that would never fly these days. If you have seen it, let me know if it is worth my time and also how many clowns there are throughout the course of the 2 hours.
Have a great weekend y'all!

The movie is great (I read the book as well) and they do have a computer the size of a book, the IPAD, it's great, try one!
